Chicks!!

Several schools in the Charlottesville and Albemarle area joined with the Albemarle Cooperative Extension Office to complete an embryology project. The embryology project came to an end on May 20th. Some schools were able to find their chicks homes. While some chicks were brought back to the office, which meant there was an overload of cuteness with 32 fluffy chicks. The chicks were then donated to a local camp, Triple C Camp.

About Me

Hello everyone!
My name is Shania and I am interning at the Albemarle Cooperative Extension. I am recent graduate from Liberty University where I obtained a degree in Health Promotion. Growing up, I participated in several workshops and camps that were offered by Madison Cooperative Extension Office. I am very passionate about the development and health of children. There are several workshops that will be offered this summer, that I will have the opportunity to plan and implement to children with the Albemarle and Charlottesville area. From this internship, I am hoping to impact children's lives through health, 4-H Camp, workshops, and other programs in a way that will inspire them to live healthy lives.
